An ever-popular contemporary design, this iconic Cartier "Trinity" ring of interlocking white, rose, and yellow gold bands was designed by the artist Jean Cocteau. Best known as the leader of French avant-garde cinema, Cocteau excelled in many arts and, in 1923, gave this jewelry design to his friend Louis Cartier to create in gold.
